No Such Thing is a 3-piece Christian pop-punk band from Peoria, Illinois. They all believe that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior and they have dedicated this band to spreading the Word of the Gospel to the youth of the area. There is a five song CD available on mp3.com. Also, you can get two of them ("Farewell" and "Negative State") on a pre-release that will be available at all of our shows. NST is also playing shows in the Peoria area so look for that.

No Such Thing began in the summer of 1998 with Drew Fustin on guitar and making an attempt at vocals, Brandon Babcock on bass and also shooting for vocals, and then drummer Kyle Essex trying to drum. Well, that worked for a while, but eventually Kyle parted ways with Drew and Brandon cause of conflicts with schedule. Brandon suggested that Derek Pruden, the drummer of Brandon's old band, take over the drummer position. That worked good for a whole year or more, but then, sadly, Brandon headed off to college. Then, Jake Hammel came in to fill the bassist spot. So, that is the current lineup, which will probably last until Drew and Derek go off to college. Drew plans to go to Drake University, so he will form a new band in the Des Moines/Ames, IA area with Brandon, who is at Iowa State University in Ames.
